Author Ronel Uys, is an outstanding writer! I recently started a business not to long ago, and I was having difficulty getting to my audience. I went online and bought a few books regarding how to set up your business, and how to get its name out there. Ronel's, "Because Your Online Presence Matters", was a one of the few books I purchased. Upon reading it, its like the whole notion of how to do business changed in my mind. About the Author
Dunstan Brown investigates autonomous morphology, morphology-syntax interaction, and typology. His recent work has focused on describing and understanding different aspects of morphological complexity. After graduating with a BA in Modern Languages and a Master of Linguistics from the University of Manchester, he completed a PhD in Linguistics at the University of Surrey and worked there for many years before taking up a 50th Anniversary Chair at the University of York in 2012.

Andrew Hippisley is Associate Professor of Linguistics in the Department of English at the University of Kentucky.

About the Author
Ajay D. Kshemkalyani is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was awarded his PhD in Computer and Information Science in 1991 from The Ohio State University. Before moving to academia, he spent several years working on computer networks at IBM Research Triangle Park. In 1999, he received the National Science Foundation's CAREER Award. He is a senior member of the IEEE, and his principal areas of research include distributed computing, algorithms, computer networks, and concurrent systems. He currently serves on the editorial board of Computer Networks. Mukesh Singhal is Full Professor and Gartner Group Endowed Chair in Network Engineering in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. He was awarded his PhD in Computer Science in 1986 from the University of Maryland, College Park. In 2003, he received the IEEE Technical Achievement Award, and currently serves on the editorial boards for the IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems and the IEEE Transactions on Computers. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, and his principal areas of research include distributed systems, computer networks, wireless and mobile computing systems, performance evaluation, and computer security.

A very good organized book

The whole structure of this text is really good. At beginning, the model of distributed system is introduced, which provides me the basic knowledge to reason with the distributed system. Based on this, many fundamental algorithms are introduced. Although the algorithms are given in pseudocode, it makes me understand the wisdom behind these algorithms more directly. After the model and algorithms, various interesting topics in the area of distributed system are introduced. Based on the understanding of previously introduced knowledge, I really find this part inspiring. If you are interested in the area of distributed system, you really should read this book.

Excellent content, presented lucidly. Complex matter of course and not written for entertainment but to learn a trade/profession. Good balance of theory and practical examples. Only fly in ointment is the fact that good amount of examples have subtle errors in them. Probably confusing for a student. And I think they have an errata out.

Not exactly relevant to most of the test

I used this for 0371 (EBD). It didn't have a lot of things in it that ended up being on the test.

Good resource

These books are used to simulate a possible test set of questions and to get you ready for the appropriate test format. These are not "give mes" of your actual test! Hence the negative reviews. I studied for the 0353 (which replaced the 0351) test with this book and the newer updated guide for about a month prior to my test date and it did me wonders.

Good Information

I had used Cliffs TestPrep Praxis II previously for my English/Language Arts certification and was happy that I found a version for Special Education. Although the numbers of my test was different than any of the ones on the cover (I took 5354), the information was still similar and very helpful. The book provided great insight on what I needed to know and helped me get a better score than I was expecting.
