About the Author
Russ Shafer-Landau is Professor of Philosophy and Director of The Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is the author, editor, or coeditor of several books including The Fundamentals of Ethics, Third Edition (OUP, 2014), Reason and Responsibility, Fifteenth Edition (2013), and Ethical Theory: An Anthology, Second Edition (2012). He is also the editor of Oxford Studies in Metaethics.

The Only College Reading I'll Every Enjoy!

The Ethical Life was required reading for Drexel's Philosophy 251. It is a composition of several works, which are extremely interesting and beneficial to general life. I would highly recommend reading it on your own accord. I personally read the sections that my course didn't cover because it was easy to read and well compiled. If you purchase this book, you won't regret reading it and the information you learn may make you a better, calmer, and more centered individual.

A very thought provoking yet calming read, this was required for a philosophy class. The composition of works in this book are very well chosen and interesting. A great choice for a college text, not nearly as dry as your regular college readings.
