Be careful of buying this book.

Be very careful of buying this book. There are many many mistakes including things such as basic arithmetic. Since they skip steps often this can leave you confused, unless you trudge through the process of proving it incorrect. This takes time, but can be good practice.
Authors' please take your time with this book, you can really mess up people studying for the FE exam!

Bought this book for my wife who is taking the BE exam. Gives a great guideline on what subjects to study as well as examples, sample problems and solutions. The FE exam is very comprehensive, this book is a great guide. Easy to follow and is organized nicely.

The book gives questions a little more difficult then the ones found on the FE. That being said I think it is worth purchasing. I passed the mechanical FE by studying using this book.
